I am often asked about nutrition and I wholeheartedly believe in the benefits of a plant-based diet for longevity.  


FAQ's

What about protein? Meeting your protein needs is more than possible on a plant-based diet. All plants have protein, and eating enough calories will ensure you are meeting your protein needs.


What about building muscle on a plant-based diet? As a society, we have been conditioned to believe that the only way to get protein is by eating animals. The science shows this is categorically false. Building muscle is done by putting your body in a calorie surplus. For example, if you are a novice lifter, consuming 20-40% more calories than required for daily maintenance will be adequate, and for more advanced lifters, 10-20% more.
